How to Prepare for Your Session

To keep the focus on your child and the color story, preparation is simple:

Wardrobe

• For best results, stay tone on tone - outfit matching backdrop color

• Alternatively, neutral tones work too (cream, white, soft beige)

• Avoid logos, patterns, and prints

• Keep it minimal and timeless

• Textures like knit and crochet add beautiful detail

Timing

• Choose a time that aligns with your child’s happiest window

• Well-rested and fed = the best expressions

• Avoid telling your child to smile

• Sessions are 15–20 minutes

• Gentle direction will be provided throughout

• The goal is natural, effortless moments—not forced smiles
