You Are Their Childhood.

A luxury motherhood portrait experience designed to honor the woman at the center of it all.

THE EMOTIONAL TRUTH

There will come a day when your children search for photos of you.

Not the perfectly styled holiday card.
Not the quick iPhone selfie.

They will look for the way you held them.
The way you looked at them.
The way you were.

And too often — mothers are missing.

At Studio Blanc in San Ramon, we create portraits that ensure you are never absent from your children’s memories.

WHY MOTHERS AVOID THE CAMERA

You say:
“I want to lose 10 pounds first.”
“I’m tired.”
“I don’t feel like myself.”

But your children do not see what you see.

They see safety.
Warmth.
Home.

Your presence is the heirloom.

This is not a mini session.
This is not rushed.

This is a guided, luxury portrait experience including:

  • Pre-session styling consultation

  • Access to curated wardrobe guidance

  • Professional posing direction

  • Soft, sculpted lighting

  • Heirloom-quality artwork

You are gently guided the entire time.
No modeling experience required.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Frequently Asked Questions — Motherhood Portrait Experience

  • What should I wear for my session?

We want you to feel confident, elegant, and you. We offer personalized wardrobe guidance, and will help you choose pieces that flatter your form and photograph beautifully.
For timeless, heirloom-worthy images:

  • Choose neutral, soft tones or muted colors that complement skin tones.

  • Avoid large logos or distracting patterns.

  • Flowy dresses, soft knits, and simple silhouettes create the most classic looks.

  • Coordinate (don’t match).

Our goal is that your portraits feel authentic — not styled by trends, but rooted in who you truly are.

  • How long is the session?

Our Motherhood Portrait Experience is designed to be a luxury, relaxed experience — not rushed or minimalist.
Typical sessions run around 60–90 minutes, which gives us time to:

  • Settle into the studio environment

  • Capture beautiful, natural moments

  • Explore multiple poses and groupings

  • Honor the connection between you and your children

We give you time, space, and guidance to feel comfortable in front of the camera.

  • Can I include grandmother or other family members?

Motherhood Portraits are intentionally designed to center you as a mother and your connection with your children. This experience is not a family session — it is a tribute to motherhood.

Grandmothers are welcome to join for generational portraits — capturing three generations together can be deeply meaningful and heirloom-worthy.

However, partners and extended family members are not included in this offering. Those sessions fall under our Family Portrait Experience.

This focused approach allows us to create images that:

  • Honor the emotional depth of motherhood

  • Keep you as the central subject

  • Preserve the intimate, timeless tone of the session

If you’re looking for full family portraits, we’d love to guide you toward the experience that best fits your vision.

  • When should I book before Mother’s Day?

Spring and Mother’s Day are popular booking times, and availability fills quickly — especially for weekend dates. We recommend:

Booking at least 6–8 weeks before Mother’s Day to secure your preferred date and build in time for wardrobe planning, session prep, and your final ordering appointment.

Early bookings also allow us to:

  • Provide tailored wardrobe support

  • Build a thoughtful shot list with you

  • Reserve premium session timing

Because this is a luxury portrait experience, early scheduling ensures you won’t miss out.

Spots are intentionally limited to ensure a luxury experience.

Reserve your session today and give your children something priceless.
